Add or modify a Facebook business page

Do you have a business or project website that needs to be found? One word: Facebook. Love it or hate it, there is no better way to reach the masses, one person at a time.

Here's an interesting (or terrifying) statistic: There are more than 900 million active Facebook users. Also of interest: Approximately 80% of users are outside of the United States. If you are trying to get the word out, those two statements alone can sell you on Facebook.

FYI: One of the benefits of a Facebook Fan (AKA business) page is that it returns in search results outside of Facebook. Your regular Facebook page does not. A Fan page allows for one-on-one interaction with your clients (and potential clients) in a public forum. That means that each exchange is like built-in publicity!

A clarification: A Facebook Page is different than a personal account. Pages are for organizations, businesses, celebrities, bands etc. Pages can be enhanced with applications that help the entity communicate and engage with their audiences, and capture new audiences virally through friend recommendations, News Feed stories, Facebook events etc. In short, Pages are more modifiable and marketable. This is a good thing.

Used hand-in-hand with your regular Facebook account, Fan pages dramatically increase your audience (and brand name recognition) by allowing you to post as either yourself or as your business (or both).

How exactly your page might be modified depends on your particular situation. But there is certainly no shortage of possibility. There are web applications (apps) to perform every possible task imaginable. The only downside is that installing apps can be a bit overwhelming at times, and that, my friend is where we might come in handy :)

To discuss the possibility of creating a Facebook Page, or modifying an existing Page, we invite you to contact us.
